To achieve this goal, we aim for the responsible management of our business through commitment to the Green Tourism Scheme.
As an integral part of this, we are committed to:
- Protecting the environment through the management of those processes associated with the running of the business which may have an overall negative environmental impact
- Continually improving our environmental performance through:
Improved waste handling, storage and disposal, including the minimisation, composting and recycling of wastes where possible.
Forming close relationships with our suppliers to encourage the adoption of nest environmental practices.
Minimising the environmental impacts associated with our energy, water and fuel use wherever possible.
Ensuring the environmental risks associated with our site are minimised as far as possible.
In order to achieve these goals we will:
- Meet or exceed current and future legislative requirements
- Strive to prevent pollution
- Focus on objectives to support this policy, regularly review them and show continuing improvements in environmental performance, monitored by management
